To use Skype on your desktop or laptop you need to install software first, than you need compatible webcam and headphones.

For Windows and Linux users:

If you are administrator on your computer, follow the instructions and Skype (always use the latest version) should work without any changes. If you don't have admin permissions ask one of the friendly CSO's for help with installation.

For Mac users:

After installation you have to do few changes:
