SUMS: Cresswell -- What mathematics do we see in artwork?

This week we’re excited to have Clio Cresswell giving the SUMS talk. 

Abstract: 
The Museum of Contemporary Art (Australia) once asked me to give a
lecture for the opening of their exhibition of Tim Hawkinson’s work.
They asked as they saw so much mathematics in his work and wanted a
mathematical account of it. What mathematics did they see? And what
mathematics did I see?
